Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Vehicle Technician in Foster City, CA, to support Fleet Operations, Engineering, Testing, and Vehicle Readiness teams.

Role requires 2+ years of technician experience, a valid driver’s license, forklift certification, and strong communication skills; occasional local travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of vehicle technician experience with strong automotive maintenance and repair knowledge.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Current and valid forklift operator certification compliant with applicable safety standards.
• Ability to pass a background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screening, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and readiness inspections to ensure safe on-road operation.
• Coordinate vehicle service and repair activities while collaborating with engineering teams and the Shop Foreman.
• Maintain accurate service records, diagnostic reports, and quality documentation.
• Support shop operations by maintaining tools, equipment, facilities, and parts inventory.
• Assist with vehicle demonstrations, testing activities, and occasional local travel to support fleet operations.

Our client, an automotive engineering and fleet operations organization, is seeking a Vehicle Technician to join their team. As a Vehicle Technician, you will be part of the Fleet Operations team supporting Engineering, Testing, and Vehicle Readiness teams. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a self-starter mentality, and a collaborative team-oriented approach which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Vehicle Technician

Location: Foster City, CA

Shift: Tuesday to Saturday, 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM

Pay Range: $46.00 - $54.00/hour (DOE)
