Job summary

Artech L.L.C. is seeking a Vehicle Technician to maintain and prepare fleet vehicles for testing and demonstrations. You will diagnose, repair, and document maintenance, supporting day-to-day shop operations and coordinating with engineering teams.

The role requires 2+ years of automotive technician experience, proficiency with automotive communication protocols, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. This on-site position may involve local travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Thursday – Monday, 1st Shift (8:00 AM - 5:30 PM)
• Friday – Tuesday, 1st Shift (8:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
• Monday – Friday, 3rd Shift (10:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Saturday – Wednesday, 2nd Shift (2:00 PM – 11:30 PM)
• Tuesday – Saturday, 2nd Shift (2:00 PM – 11:30 PM)
• Wednesday – Sunday, 2nd Shift (2:00 PM – 11:30 PM)

Job Summary:

Looking for a Vehicle Technician to maintain and prepare fleet vehicles for testing and demonstrations. The role involves vehicle diagnostics, repairs, maintenance, documentation, and supporting day-to-day shop/lab operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain, diagnose, repair, and prepare vehicles for safe operation.
• Perform vehicle diagnostics and coordinate repairs with engineering teams.
• Ensure vehicles are ready for testing and demonstrations.
• Maintain service records and diagnostic reports.
• Manage tools, parts inventory, and shop/workspace organization.
• Assist with local vehicle transportation when needed.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of vehicle/automotive technician experience.
• Good experience with CAN bus, LIN, Ethernet, or other automotive communication protocols.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, repair, tools, and parts.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Must pass background, MVR, and drug screening.
• Must wear required ASTM-compliant safety boots.
• Willingness to travel locally/nationally occasionally.
