Job summary

Cox Automotive - USA is seeking a Lot Operations Specialist I to manage vehicle staging and movement on the auction lot. The role includes labeling cars for crew movements and coordinating safety-compliant operations.

Work hours are Monday–Friday, 7am–4:30pm, with an hourly pay rate around $17.12/hr and potential incentive programs. Requires a valid license and ability to drive various transmissions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous auction experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record required.
• Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission.
• Constantly required to enter and exit vehicles.
• Ability to sit for prolonged periods and to walk long distances.

Responsibilities

• Support the organization, movement, staging, and placement of vehicles across the auction lot to meet operational and sale‑day requirements.
• Ensure vehicles are safely operable and coordinate escape or tow teams as needed.
• Communicate with lot operations leadership, crew leaders, and cross‑functional partners regarding inventory status, priorities, and workflow needs.
