Job summary

Bergey’s Lincoln in Lansdale, PA seeks an experienced auto salesperson to sell new and used vehicles and maximize dealership gross profit while delivering top-notch customer service.

You will write complete sales orders, follow-up with prospects, and stay informed about product offerings. A valid driver’s license and pre-employment checks are required; compensation includes bonus potential and advancement opportunities within Bergey’s extensive network.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and pass pre-employment background checks and drug screening.
• Experience in auto sales or dealership environment preferred.
• Ability to present and sell vehicles while maintaining customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Sell/lease new and used vehicles to meet dealership targets and customer needs.
• Present vehicle features, warranties, and pricing accurately to customers.
• Process paperwork and manage test drives and documentation per dealership policy.
• Maintain follow-up with customers to encourage referrals and repeat business.
• Stay informed about new products and services and participate in ongoing training.

Summary:

Sells/leases new- auto and used-vehicles/car sales at dealership gross profit, volume, and customer satisfaction standards. Responsible for effectively presenting and selling from a large and diverse used vehicle inventory, matching customers with the right vehicle while maximizing sales opportunities and customer satisfaction.

• Writes complete car sales orders and processes paperwork in accordance with dealership policies.
• Utilizes dealership auto sales control and follow-up systems.
• Attends product and sales training courses as requested by sales manager.
• Keeps up-to-date on new auto products and services within the industry.
• Maintains an owner follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business and contributes to customer satisfaction.
• Maintains a prospect development system.
• Conducts business in an ethical and professional manner.
• Satisfies the transportation needs of vehicle purchasers.
• Approaches, greets, and offers assistance/direction to any customer who enters the dealership showroom/sales lot.
• Assists customers in selecting a vehicle / auto by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses.
• Explains fully product performance, application and benefits to prospects.
• Describes all optional equipment available for customer purchase.
• Offers test drives to all prospects. Follows dealership procedure to obtain proper identification from customer prior to test drive.
• Other tasks as assigned.
