• Review and process tag and title registrations and related applications.
• Verify insurance documentation and issue decals and plates.
• Answer phone calls and greet visitors, providing information and assistance.
• Process incoming and outgoing mail.
• Handle insurance suspension transactions.
• Process applications for handicap parking permits.
• Review exemption forms for military personnel, law enforcement, and others.
• Add or remove lienholders on vehicle titles.
• Respond to inquiries regarding vehicle tags, decals, titles, and registrations.
• Issue receipts and reconcile fees collected.
• Maintain accurate files and records.
• Index and file tags, decals, registration forms and documents; issue special plates.
• Review applications for accuracy and return incomplete submissions.
• Calculate and collect ad valorem taxes when applicable.
• Provide information to law enforcement agencies.
• Balance and maintain cash drawer.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
