Job summary

America's Auto Auction (Columbus Fair) in Obetz, Ohio is hiring a Vehicle Registration Specialist / Customer Service to handle dealer registration, check-ins, and documentation for auction transactions. Training is provided and the role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with full benefits.

Ideal candidates have administrative or customer service experience, attention to detail, and the ability to work outdoors and on their feet. A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• Administrative, customer service, or related experience.
• Automotive experience is a plus but not required.
• Able to work outdoors during all weather conditions.
• Able to be on your feet all day.
• Attention to detail is a must.
• Regular and consistent availability and attendance.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license for duration of employment.
• Clean driving record.
• Need to pass pre-employment screening.

Responsibilities

• Manage dealer registration and customer check-in processes.
• Verify documentation and maintain accurate customer records.
• Process vehicle registration paperwork to support auction transactions.
• Communicate registration requirements and next steps to customers.
• Maintain accurate logs, files, and documentation.
• Partner with Sales and Customer Service to resolve issues.
• Support efficient sale-day registration operations.
• Resolve documentation discrepancies and elevate issues as needed.
• Handle customer and transaction information with confidentiality and professionalism.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities for Vehicle Registration Specialist / Customer Service

• Manage dealer registration and customer check-in processes.

Work Hours for Vehicle Registration Specialist / Customer Service

• 40 hours a week (Full Time)
• Monday 8am - 5pm
• Tuesday is a longer day for auction sales day prep (8am - end time 5pm to 9pm)
• Wednesday 7am - 4pm
• Thursday 8am - 5pm
• Friday start is 8am with varied end times to keep weekly hours at 40
