Job summary

America's Auto Auction (Columbus Fair) is seeking an Outside Vehicle Registration Specialist to manage dealer registration and customer check-in on the auction lot. You will verify documents, process paperwork, and support sale-day operations in a 40-hour weekly schedule, typically Monday–Friday, with occasional longer days during auction prep.

The role requires outdoor work in varying weather, strong attention to detail, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Administrative or customer service experience required.
• Some automotive related experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Must be on your feet most of the day.
• Must be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Manage dealer registration and customer check-in processes.
• Verify documentation and maintain accurate customer records.
• Process vehicle registration paperwork to support auction transactions.
• Communicate registration requirements and next steps to customers.
• Maintain accurate logs, files, and documentation.
• Partner with Sales and Customer Service to resolve issues.
• Support efficient sale-day registration operations.
• Resolve documentation discrepancies and escalation issues as needed.
• Handle customer and transaction information with confidentiality and professionalism.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Hours for Outside Vehicle Registration Specialist

• 40 hours a week (Full Time)
• Monday 8am - 5pm
• Tuesday is a longer day for auction sales day prep (8am - end time 5pm to 9pm)
• Wednesday 7am - 4pm
• Thursday 8am - 5pm
• Friday start is 8am with varied end times to keep weekly hours at 40

• Regular and consistent availability and attendance.
