Job summary

America’s Auto Auction (Columbus Fair) in Obetz, OH is seeking an Outside Vehicle Registration Specialist to manage dealer registration, verify documents, and support auction-related registration. The role requires standing, working outdoors, and navigating weather conditions while ensuring accurate records and courteous customer service.

Hours are Monday–Friday with a 40-hour schedule; compensation is $17.00 per hour with full benefits, 401(k) matching, paid holidays, PTO, and growth potential.

Qualifications

• Administrative, customer service, or related experience.
• Some automotive related experience is a plus but not required.
• Able to work outside during all weather conditions.
• Able to be on your feet most of the day.
• Attention to detail is a must.
• Regular and consistent availability and attendance.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license, for duration of employment.
• Clean driving record.
• Need to pass pre-employment screening.

Responsibilities

• Manage dealer registration and customer check-in processes.
• Verify documentation and maintain accurate customer records.
• Process vehicle registration paperwork to support auction transactions.
• Communicate registration requirements and next steps to customers.
• Maintain accurate logs, files, and documentation.
• Partner with Sales and Customer Service to resolve issues.
• Support efficient sale-day registration operations.
• Resolve documentation discrepancies and escalation issues as needed.
• Handle customer and transaction information with confidentiality and professionalism.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Hours for Outside Vehicle Registration Specialist

• 40 hours a week (Full Time)
• Monday 8am - 5pm
• Tuesday is a longer day for auction sales day prep (8am - end time 5pm to 9pm)
• Wednesday 7am - 4pm
• Thursday 8am - 5pm
• Friday start is 8am with varied end times to keep weekly hours at 40
