Job summary

Qualifications

• Two-year degree in automotive technology or related field or directly relevant experience.
• Two years’ parts counter experience at an aftermarket or dealer level or equivalent related experience.
• Thorough familiarity with parts catalog knowledge and fit/function of service parts for medium and heavy-duty vehicles.
• Ability to drive a vehicle and possess a valid driver license.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-depth technical assistance to dealers/distributors for parts applications.
• Research parts identification problems and assist with catalog issues for commercial and light-duty vehicles.
• Review manual allocation coded parts for correct application prior to order release.
• Perform inspections of returned parts or incoming shipments when irregularities are suspected and travel to the California warehouse as needed.
