Actalent is seeking a Packaging Engineer for Vehicle Programs in Warren, MI. The role focuses on developing packaging solutions that protect part quality while optimizing container density and minimizing costs.

You will translate inputs from stakeholders into robust designs using 3D tools and project management skills. The ideal candidate has a degree in packaging/industrial/mechanical engineering with automotive packaging experience and strong collaboration, problem-solving, and lean skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in packaging/industrial/mechanical engineering or related field.
• Experience in automotive packaging, container design, and packaging validation.
• Proficiency with 3D modeling and design software for multiple manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop robust packaging solutions for stakeholders across supply base, logistics, and manufacturing.
• Design and manage multiple container concepts to meet program milestones and delivery timelines.
• Create and implement validation protocols for loading, transportation, and unloading.
