• Assist in maximizing margins through negotiation and sales tactics.
• Review and correct master data for locations and orders.
• Measure and report on performance trends for clients and vendors.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Vehicle Operational Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong organizational skills, and is passionate about delivering high-quality service. You will play a key role in managing vehicle inventory, supporting auction operations, and ensuring effective communication with internal teams and customers.

As a Vehicle Operational Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate vehicle records, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring vehicles meet quality standards. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will regularly interact with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to provide updates, gather information, and ensure program requirements are met. You will also be expected to read, review, and understand the history of an order-including kickback notes-to make informed decisions and verify vehicles on time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate proficiency in making real-time phone calls through the recorded line to verify vehicle status with pickup sites
• Build relationship with Manheim Auction commercial team and management
• Demonstrate proficiency in making real-time phone calls through the recorded line to verify vehicle status with pickup sites
• Manage email boxes for multiple locations and collaborate on regional emails
• Entry of all manual orders and processing of other AS400 system orders
• Manage escalated Client Succes VINs with peers and agents
• Monitor holds and verification delays
• Dispatch negotiation and a heavy understanding of sales tactics to increase margin
• Action AutoIMS for Trans Delay Holds, Cancellations, ETA's
• Following Up with carriers on several VINs daily
• Process Fees and post assessorial charges to record
• Request Hold Harmless/Releases
• Investigating kickback of VINs by carriers to get units re-dispatched
• Be comfortable holding carriers accountable to their plan
• Create and manage corrective action of a vendor
• Monitoring order entry failures throughout the day and correct
• Understanding of margin relative to position and some tracking of margin requirements
• Monitoring and correcting master data files for location errors
• Measuring performance - understanding analytics for clients and vendors
• Report on performance results for high level management and executive leaders
• Compile vehicle transportation related data and generate reports
• Follow all job-related duties as directed by supervisor
• Be an outside the box thinker who can solve problems quickly

USD 16.59 - 24.86 per hour

Compensation:

Hourly pay rate is in the range of $16.59 - $24.86/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

Benefits:

• Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
• Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
