Cox Automotive is seeking a Vehicle Operations Logistics Specialist I to support vehicle processing at a Cox facility. You will input vehicle data, apply labels, and ensure proper sale identification throughout the intake and handling process.

The role emphasizes safety, attention to detail, and the ability to work a day shift in a non-remote environment, with opportunities to contribute to operational efficiency and data privacy practices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Less than 2 years’ related experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear; lift 1–15 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Input vehicle data into AS400 using TC-75, including VIN, stock number, dealer ID, make, model, year, mileage, color, options.
• Affix barcode/stock stickers to vehicles on arrival.
• Apply work order numbers and routing labels to vehicles.
• Identify 'no key' vehicles.
• Direct transporters to drop zones and report damage.
• Provide sale identification windshield codes.

Hourly base pay rate is $16.63 - $24.90/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Input accurate vehicle information into the AS400 system using a handheld device (TC-75), including:
  • VIN (Vehicle Identification Number)
  • Stock number
  • Dealer ID
  • Make, model, year, mileage, color, options
• Affix barcode/stock number stickers to each vehicle upon arrival
• Apply work order numbers and routing labels to vehicles
• Identify and flag “no key” vehicles
• Direct transporters to designated vehicle drop zones
• Inspect and report transport damage as required
• Provide proper sale identification windshield codes

Data Protection & Vehicle Preparation

• Remove and clear allpersonal informationfrom vehicles, including documents, saved contacts, and identifiable items
• Reset or removenavigation system data(addresses, history, Bluetooth pairings, etc.)
• Ensure compliance with company policies regarding customer data privacy and security

Safety & Team Support

• Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety by following all safety procedures and guidelines
• Support Safety Excellence initiatives and work with leadership on safety activities
• Assist with additional operational duties as assigned, including:
  • Driving vehicles through auction lanes on sale days

Qualifications

Minimum

• High School Diploma/GED
• Generally, less than 2 years’ experience in a related field.
• Safe drivers needed; valid driver’s license required
• Basic computer skills required.
• Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear.
• Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat and climb.
• Ability to lift 1-15 pounds.
• Vision abilities required include close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Schedule

• WEDNESDAY -SUNDAY 1:30 PM-10:00 PM SHIFT

Preferred Qualifications

• 1–3 years of auction or vehicle registration experience
• Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles

• Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat, and climb

To be employed in this role, you’ll need to clear a pre-employment drug test. Cox Automotive does not currently administer a pre-employment drug test for marijuana for this position. Benefits

Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
