Intrepid Control Systems is hiring a Technical Support Engineer to provide first-level assistance for ICShardware and related software. The role is customer-facing, involving phone, email, online meetings, and occasional in-person support to diagnose and guide customers through troubleshooting steps.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in technical or customer support, IT, electronics, or related field.
• Basic understanding of computer systems and hardware.
• Experience communicating technically to customers is preferred.
• Willingness to learn ICShardware products and automotive networks.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer questions via phone, email, online meetings, or in person.
• Communicate professionally with customers during troubleshooting.
• Guide customers through hardware setup, connections, software installation, licensing, and network configuration.
• Troubleshoot issues with ICShardware, software, licensing, wiring, and networks.
• Create testing setups to reproduce customer environments and reported issues.
• Document interactions, steps taken, issues found, and resolutions.
• Escalate advanced issues to senior team members when needed.
• Maintain current knowledge of ICShardware products and support procedures.
