Job summary

Holden Industries, Inc. is seeking a Vehicle Network Specialist to diagnose and repair CAN bus networks across Vac-Con/Vector products. This role requires independent work, accurate documentation, and clear customer communication at the Service Center in Green Cove Springs, FL.

The candidate will understand CAN BUS technology, read complex schematics, and operate all models of Vac-Con/Vector products. Some assembly work and limited service operations may be involved.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 3-5 years experience.
• ISO 11898-2 (preferred).
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, water, and electrical systems.
• Willingness to travel 30% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Identify operational deficiencies across all Vac-Con/Vector models.
• Identify materials, parts and supplies needed to complete repairs.
• Deep understanding of CAN BUS protocols and schematics; read blueprints and manuals.
• Test, troubleshoot and repair CAN bus lines, multiplex systems, and ECUs using diagnostic tools.

JOB SUMMARY

The Service Technician interacts with customers professionally and courteously while receiving and discharging units at the Service Center. This role operates all makes and models of Vac-Con/Vector products to diagnose and repair unit deficiencies. The technician prepares accurate written and electronic documentation, completes service orders in a timely manner, and supports customer satisfaction through clear communication. The technician must work independently with limited supervision and collaboratively in a team environment. The role may also include assembly work, requires knowledge of the Vac-Con/Vector product line, and may involve limited-service operations as needed. This person must be well versed in CAN BUS technology

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES

• Identify operational deficiencies across all models of Vac-Con/Vector
• Identifies materials, parts and supplies needed to complete a repair in a safe and efficient manner. You must be able to operate Vac-Con/Vector products of all models.
• Deep understanding of CAN BUS protocols, multiplexing architecture, and the ability to read complex electrical schematics and blueprints. Follow prints and schematics as well as technical manuals. Also written and spoken instructions.
• Test, troubleshoot and repair Controller Area Network (CAN bus) lines, multiplex systems, and electronic control modules using digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, and specialized scan tools

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: High School Diploma
• Experience: 3-5 Years
• Certifications: ISO 11898-2 (Preferred)
• Other required KSA (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities): Ability to diagnose and repair various mechanical, hydraulic, water, and electrical systems.
• Must be willing to travel 30% of the time.
