Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group is seeking an engineer to perform throughput analysis and simulation for new vehicle programs. You will collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering centers to design and optimize current and future manufacturing systems and support plants in throughput improvement initiatives.

The role requires 2+ years in engineering/manufacturing and hands-on experience with discrete event simulation, Lean principles, and Theory of Constraints. Occasional travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in engineering or equivalent.
• 2+ years engineering/manufacturing experience.
• 2+ years discrete event simulation experience.
• Familiarity with Theory of Constraints.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing Principles.

Responsibilities

• Implement simulation deliverables for assigned major vehicle programs.
• Run analyses, interpret results, and generate standard reports with improvements.
• Respond to throughput simulation pulls from facilities.
• Support ME optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with MSIE, GA, Conveyor, and IE organizations.
• Deliver results to customers and interface with teams to update data sets.
• Travel 5-10% as needed.
