Job summary

Idaho Materials & Construction, a CRH Company, seeks a skilled automotive maintenance technician to service diesel vehicles and ensure engine parts are properly lubricated. You will check fluid levels, change oil and filters, and inspect belts and hoses for wear.

Work may occur in the shop, yard, or on job sites. The role requires CDL A with tanker and hazmat endorsements, a safety‑first mindset, and the ability to perform precise diagnostics and preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid state CDL Class A with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements.
• Experience in vehicle inspection and preventative maintenance.
• Ability to work safely in a team environment and follow written/verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine vehicle maintenance (oil change, lubrication, coolant, fuel).
• Analyze malfunctions and report for diagnostics or repair.
• Operate and inspect equipment to diagnose defects.
• Dismantle and reassemble equipment using hand tools.
• Maintain and document fluid analyses and PM schedules.
