Qualifications

• Currently enrolled and pursuing a two-year degree in Automotive Technology or similar field.
• Cumulative GPA of at least 2.75.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Must not graduate prior to May 2027.

Responsibilities

• Performs PM inspections on light & medium vehicles and assists technicians with PMs.
• Assists with Federal DOT inspections.
• Adheres to FMCSR for DOT inspections.
• Provides assistance on dielectric test inspections.
• Performs diagnostics and repairs on light/medium vehicles, trailers and powered equipment.
• Maintains technical competence to diagnose and repair vehicles/equipment.
• Performs hydraulic brake system and component repairs.
• Assists with hydraulic component repairs.
• Assists with air brake system inspections and repairs.
• Assists higher classification with diagnostics and repairs on all vehicles/equipment.
• Troubleshoots, diagnoses and repairs basic electric system components and A/C systems.
