Duke Energy Corporation is hiring Vehicle Maintenance Technician I/II in Greenville, SC. The role performs preventive maintenance, inspections, and basic repairs on a range of vehicles and equipment, including trucks, trailers, and off-road gear.

Expect field and garage work with adherence to FMCSR and safety standards. Typical qualifications include an Associate degree/certificate in auto/diesel/heavy equipment, plus related experience or a high school diploma with experience.

Formación

• Two-year degree or certificate in auto, diesel, or heavy equipment mechanics.
• Experience or proven ability in auto/diesel maintenance or related field.
• CDL-A license within 6 months of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Perform preventative maintenance inspections on light and medium vehicles and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, electrical, and braking systems.
• Assist DOT inspections and FMCSR compliance tasks.
• Diagnostics and repairs on forklifts, trailers, and powered equipment.
• Maintain safe operation and proper tire and brake service.

Educación

Two-year associate degree or certificate in auto, diesel, or heavy equipment mechanics

High school diploma/GED with related experience

Ability to obtain a Class A CDL license within 6 months
