Job summary

Northeast Sweepers & Rentals, Inc. seeks a technician's assistant to support preventative maintenance and service at customer sites, dispatched from the office. You will learn hands-on in a fast-paced environment and help keep the work area clean and safe.

After training, you will diagnose and repair engine, hydraulic, and electrical systems, identify needed parts, and perform road tests. You will communicate with customers to address issues and contribute to quality service.

Qualifications

• Must speak English
• 1+ years experience
• Must have own tools
• Vocational/Technical or certification preferred
• Proficiency in the use of shop tools required
• Enrolled or previous enrolled in an automotive program.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and service at customer sites dispatched from office.
• Diagnose and repair Engine, Hydraulic, and Electrical systems after training.
• Identify and determine parts required.
• Road test vehicles when necessary.
• Communicate with customers to address issues.
• Hands-on training subject to previous knowledge and abilities.
