Job summary

Doug Smith Kia in Lindon, UT is seeking a Lot Technician Manager to own the presentation and readiness of the vehicle inventory. You will supervise the lot attendant team and coordinate with the Used Car Manager to move vehicles from reconditioning to frontline merchandising while maintaining compliance.

Responsibilities include organizing the lot, preparing deliveries, coordinating photo captures, ensuring proper licensing, and maintaining a tidy showroom and service area.

Qualifications

• Experience in dealership lot or porter/detail roles required.
• Supervisory or lead experience preferred.
• Familiarity with FTC Used Car Rule and Buyers Guide preferred.
• Valid driver's license with clean record; ability to drive both manual and automatic.
• Strong organization and attention to detail; coordinate across departments.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Maintain overall lot organization and merchandising-ready inventory.
• Lead lot attendants, manage scheduling and staffing.
• Complete delivery prep on incoming vehicles: wash, vacuum, dash wipe.
• Check in vehicles at delivery, inspect for damage, file bill of lading.
• Coordinate photo capture for pre-owned inventory and update online listings promptly.
• Ensure all vehicles have license plates and FTC Buyers Guide before sale.
• Flag missing pricing labels or merchandising materials to manager.
• Maintain waiting areas and showroom displays.
