Job summary

Doug Smith Kia in Lindon, UT seeks a Lot Technician Manager to own inventory readiness, lot presentation, and lot-to-frontline coordination. You will supervise attendants, manage reconditioning flow, and ensure compliance with FTC rules and merchandising standards.

Lead the team in delivering clean, organized lots and accurate photos for online listings, while coordinating with the Used Car Manager to keep operations efficient and compliant.

Qualifications

• Experience in dealership lot or similar automotive role.
• Prior lead or supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with FTC Used Car Rule/Buyers Guide preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs and work outdoors.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain lot organization and inventory presentation.
• Oversee delivery prep for incoming vehicles (wash, vacuum, detail).
• Coordinate photo capture of pre-owned inventory for online merchandising.
• Ensure proper license plates, Buyers Guides, and merchandising materials.
• Lead, hire, train, and schedule lot attendants/porters.
• Report lot readiness and staffing to Used Car Manager and GSM.
