Job summary

Cox Automotive USA is seeking a Lot Operations Specialist I to manage vehicle placement and movement across our lot in Lakeland, FL. You will interpret digital instructions to allocate spaces and guide cars to the auction block and back, while maintaining operability and safety.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license, with typically less than two years of related experience. This is an on-site role with no remote option and possible overtime.

Responsibilities

• Organize and park vehicles in designated zones based on dashboard instructions to maximize lot efficiency.
• Direct the flow of vehicles through sales lanes to the auction block and back to the lot after a sale; ensure vehicles are operable (jump-start dead batteries, check tires, fueling, push-truck coordination).
• Operate a variety of vehicles safely across the lot (automatic and manual).
• Model Cox/Manheim values and ensure respectful treatment of all employees and customers.
• Enforce company policies and procedures related to conduct and safety; follow all safety protocols.
• May be required to work overtime as business needs dictate.
