Job summary

Ford Motor Company in Michigan seeks a senior logistics leader to oversee end-to-end vehicle upfit, routing, and delivery to dealer, commercial, and retail customers. You will drive lifecycle operations and optimize networks across Ship-Thru, Drop Ship, and Upfitter partners to shorten cycles and reduce variances.

The role combines governance, cost control, and digital transformation, with cross-functional leadership and executive briefings.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain management, logistics, business, quality management, operations, or related field.
Strong written and oral communication skills; you will be speaking or presenting to Senior Ford Leadership, regularly.
Ability to positively influence change and work with cross-functional groups to resolve concerns.
Proficiency in Excel (required) and PowerPoint (required); analytics/data-mining mindset; experience leveraging AI tools.

Responsibilities

Direct full lifecycle vehicle logistics operations, ensuring vehicles are efficiently routed, processed, upfitted, and delivered to meet dealer, commercial, and retail customer commitments.
Drive strategic design and optimization of Ship-Thru, Drop Ship, and Upfitter networks to shorten fulfillment cycles and unlock revenue opportunities.
Lead cross-functional readiness, process design, and launch execution for major commercial fleet accounts and evolving Ford Pro business models.
Provide governance and oversight during non-standard operating windows to maintain alignment with plant production schedules.
