Job summary

ADESA in Sanford, NC is seeking a Vehicle Inspector to assess condition, wear, neglect, damage and prior repairs, and to image and upload results promptly. You will interact professionally with dealers and consumers as the face of ADESA and its businesses.

You will capture data on mobile devices, perform road tests when required, and collaborate with management and sales to meet customer needs while upholding ADESA's standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year automotive experience preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to drive various vehicles.
• Proficiency with computer systems and applications.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles for wear, damage or prior repairs and document findings.
• Communicate professionally with dealers or consumers and with the team.
• Capture data on mobile devices and upload inspection results promptly.
• Perform road tests if required by contract or inspection type.
• Deliver accurate reports and maintain equipment and tools.
