Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA is seeking a Vehicle Feature Owner to define and govern the functional intent of vehicle features across the development lifecycle. The role collaborates with Systems Engineering, Design, and Validation to assess changes and drive evolution of system requirements.

Ideal candidates have a strong background in engineering requirements, systems thinking, and cross-functional coordination, with experience using DOORS, DOORS Next, and CodeBeamer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Experience in systems development, systems engineering, or product engineering.
• Strong understanding of system and feature requirements, requirements decomposition and traceability.

Responsibilities

• Own the functional definition of assigned vehicle features and determine expected behavior.
• Assess impacts of new features, enhancements, modifications, and regulatory changes.
• Translate feature intent into system requirements with cross-functional teams.
• Conduct requirements reviews, resolve ambiguity and gaps, and ensure traceability.
• Communicate changes and align stakeholders on feature functionality and content.
• Identify risks related to feature changes and support decision-making on releases.
