Job summary

LEHR is seeking aVehicle Equipment Installer to join our Stuart, Florida team. You will remove factory components and install emergency vehicle equipment, cameras, and 12V wiring. Training is provided for the right candidate.

The role requires mechanical and electrical aptitude, a strong work ethic, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. This is a full-time, on-site position with opportunities for growth and continuous training.

Qualifications

• Experience with hand tools and power tools is required.
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude or hands-on experience is required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work around vehicles.
• Attention to detail; able to work independently or in a team.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Remove factory-installed interior and exterior components.
• Install emergency vehicle equipment (light bars, sirens, etc).
• Install cameras, computers, and license plate recognition systems.
• Perform 12V electrical wiring and system installations.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean workspace.
• Organize tools and inventory.

LEHR is seeking someone with a strong work ethic and detail-oriented to join our Stuart, Florida team as Vehicle Equipment Installer.

Responsibilities:

• Remove factory-installed interior and exterior vehicle components
• Install emergency vehicle equipment, including light bars, sirens, speakers, push bumpers, partitions, and more
• Install cameras, computers, and license plate recognition systems
• Perform 12V electrical wiring and system installations
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean workspace
• Organize tools and inventory

Qualifications:

Required:

• Experience using hand tools and power tools
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude or hands-on experience
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and work in/around vehicles
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and on a team
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• High school diploma or GED

Preferred:

• Experience with 12V electrical systems
• Ability to read schematics or wiring diagrams

Entry-level candidates with hands-on experience are encouraged to apply. Training is provided.
