Job summary

Hyundai America Technical Center, Inc. (HATCI) is seeking a Vehicle Engineering Program Management Manager to lead a portion of the Program Management team.

You will oversee execution of complex vehicle programs, ensuring on-time delivery and achievement of targets, while directing daily work and mentoring multiple team members. The role emphasizes leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement within a fast-growing automotive organization.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required.
• 10+ years total experience in engineering/related fields.
• 2–5 years in vehicle program management or related field.
• 7–10+ years in automotive industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of program analysts with guidance and mentorship.
• Oversee execution of complex vehicle programs to meet delivery targets.
• Prepare and deliver reports to upper- and executive-level management.
• Align programs across organizations and maintain one-voice on issues, features, and specs.
• Develop and implement program management frameworks and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define objectives, scope, and success criteria.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Review program performance and drive process improvements.
• Maintain stakeholder communication on status, milestones, and deliverables.
• Manage budgets, resources, and forecasting to meet financial targets.
• Foster a collaborative, inclusive team environment and support professional development.
