Job summary

Hyundai America Technical Center, Inc. (HATCI) seeks a Vehicle Project Management Senior Engineer to join the Kia Project Management Team and lead NA vehicle programs from concept to production.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define objectives, deliverables, and KPIs, manage budgets and schedules, and communicate status to management. Travel up to 25% domestically and internationally will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field required.
• Experience with vehicle program launches and management preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; capable of handling complex data.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define program objectives, deliverables, and KPIs, and establish clear project plans and timelines.
• Lead problem-solving activities to address engineering challenges and perform analyses for cost, weight, and market considerations.
• Drive alignment across organizations and maintain program integrity through milestones and governance.
• Monitor program progress, identify risks, and develop mitigation plans to ensure on-time delivery.
• Coordinate development activities across engineering functions and manage budgets, resources, and forecasting.
