Job summary

EDAG in Georgia is seeking a Vehicle Engineering Program Manager to lead a team of program analysts and drive coordination across engineering disciplines. You will shape program objectives, manage budgets, timelines, and risks while delivering executive-level reporting.

You will apply program management frameworks, mentor staff, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of vehicle programs, with international exposure and domestic travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 10+ years overall; 2-5 years in vehicle program management; 7-10+ years in automotive industry
• Prior leadership experience, including managing direct reports, with a proven record delivering complex programs
• Knowledge of program management methodologies, tools, and frameworks
• Preferred: OEM or Tier 1 experience; professional certification
• Some domestic and international travel required
• English (C1-C2)

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver frequent reports to upper- and executive-level management; drive one-voice alignment across organizations on program issues, features, and specs
• Develop and implement program management frameworks, methodologies, and best practices for consistent, effective project execution
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define program objectives, scope, and success criteria, and establish project plans and timelines
• Monitor program progress, identify risks/issues, develop mitigation strategies, and manage program budgets, resource allocation, and forecasting.

• In-depth knowledge of program management methodologies, tools, and frameworks; familiarity with program managementtools/software
• Preferred: program management experience at an automotive OEM or Tier 1 supplier; professional certification
• Some domestic and international travel required
