Job summary

EDAG in the United States (Georgia) seeks a Vehicle Engineering Program Manager to lead a team of program analysts and drive key engineering programs. The role focuses on guiding problem-solving activities, coordinating cross-functional teams, and delivering executive-level reports on progress and risks.

The successful candidate will implement robust program management frameworks, manage budgets and timelines, and travel as needed to support program objectives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of overall experience in vehicle programs or related field, including 2-5 years in vehicle program management
• 7-10+ years in the automotive industry
• Prior leadership experience managing direct reports and delivering complex programs
• Familiar with program management methodologies, tools and frameworks
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
• English (C1-C2)
• 1 year contract
• Location: Georgia

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of program analysts, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to drive exceptional performance
• Lead problem-solving activities for engineering challenges using benchmarking, business case analysis, cost & weight initiatives, and market/customer analysis
• Prepare and deliver frequent reports to upper- and executive-level management; drive one-voice alignment across the organization on program issues, features, and specs
• Develop and implement program management frameworks, methodologies, and best practices for consistent, effective project execution
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define program objectives, scope, and success criteria, and establish project plans and timelines
• Monitor program progress, identify risks/issues, develop mitigation strategies, and manage program budgets, resource allocation, and forecasting

• In-depth knowledge of program management methodologies, tools, and frameworks; familiarity with program managementtools/software
• Preferred: program management experience at an automotive OEM or Tier 1 supplier; professional certification
• Some domestic and international travel required
