Job summary

EDAG in Georgia seeks a Vehicle Engineering Program Manager to lead a team of program analysts, set program strategy, and drive delivery of complex automotive programs. You will guide cross-functional teams, implement best practices, and communicate progress to executive leadership.

You will also manage budgets, track milestones, and ensure alignment with project scopes while traveling as needed to coordinate with global stakeholders and customers.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of overall experience in program management.
• 2-5 years in vehicle program management.
• 7-10+ years in the automotive industry.
• Proven leadership of direct reports.
• Familiar with program management frameworks and tools.
• Willing to travel domestically and internationally.
• English (C1-C2) proficiency.
• 1 year contract.

DESCRIPTION

• Lead and manage a team of program analysts, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to drive exceptionalperformance

• Lead problem-solving activities for engineering challenges, leveraging competitive benchmarking, business caseanalysis, cost & weight initiatives, and market/customer analysis

• Prepare and deliver frequent reports to upper- and executive-level management; drive one-voice alignment acrossorganizations on program issues, features, and specs

• Develop and implement program management frameworks, methodologies, and best practices for consistent,effective project execution

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define program objectives, scope, and success criteria, and establishproject plans and timelines

• Monitor program progress, identify risks/issues, develop mitigation strategies, and manage program budgets, resource allocation, and forecasting.

REQUIREMENTS

• 10+ years of overall experience, including 2-5 years in vehicle program management or a related field and 7-10+ years in theautomotive industry

• Prior leadership experience, including managing direct reports, with a proven record leading and delivering complex programs andprojects

• In-depth knowledge of program management methodologies, tools, and frameworks; familiarity with program managementtools/software

• Preferred: program management experience at an automotive OEM or Tier 1 supplier; professional certification

• Some domestic and international travel required
