Job summary

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Auto Mechanics or similar required.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a mechanic.
  • Valid driver's license with clean record.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and test equipment.
  • CAN logging and bus analysis experience.
  • Experience with CDA and other diagnostic tools.
  • Ability to read wiring schematics and triage wiring issues.
  • Experience in wiring harness fabrication and vehicle wiring modifications.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems on development vehicles.
  • Repair and rebuild equipment; replace electrical components.
  • Attach test equipment and drive vehicles under test conditions.
  • Bench fabricate wire harnesses and perform in-vehicle wiring changes.
  • Assist engineers with troubleshooting at component and system levels.
