Job summary

Stellantis Financial Services is seeking an Electrical Prod & System Development Technician to support the VONA team in a fast-paced setting. The role involves diagnosing electrical and mechanical issues on development vehicles, fabricating wiring harnesses, and setting up test fixtures.

You will drive road tests, analyze data, and collaborate with engineers to validate systems. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of mechanic experience, a relevant auto mechanics degree, and proficiency with CDA

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent in auto mechanics or related field.
• At least 3 years of mechanic experience.
• Valid driver's license with clean record per criteria.
• Working knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and diagnostic tools.
• Experience with CAN logging and bus analysis.
• Able to read wiring schematics and triage wiring issues.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems on development vehicles.
• Repair and rebuild equipment and replace electrical components.
• Attach test equipment and instrumentation to road test vehicles and drive under normal conditions.
• Bench fabricate vehicle wire harnesses and overlays; perform in-vehicle wiring modifications.
• Set up and execute tests for electrical component development and validation, including high voltage battery performance.
• Assist development/validation engineers in troubleshooting at component and system levels.
