We are looking for a high-energy Electrical Prod & System Development Technician to support the Vehicle Operability North America (VONA) team in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. VONA is responsible for triaging electrical issues on engineering development vehicles. The Electrical Prod & System Development Technician is responsible for diagnosing vehicle mechanical and electrical problems, repairing and rebuilding equipment, and replacing electrical components on vehicles and equipment. In addition, the Technician is responsible for attaching test equipment and instrumentation to road test vehicles and driving the vehicles under usual and routine conditions. Responsibilities also include bench fabrication of vehicle wire harnesses and overlays as well as in-vehicle wiring modifications, testing set up and execution for electrical component development and validation, high voltage battery performance, and vehicle system validation, as well as assisting development and validation engineers with troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues at the component and system levels.
