Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Auto Mechanics or a similar discipline.
• A minimum of 3 years' experience as a mechanic.
• Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record per company policy.
• Working knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and measurement equipment.
• CAN logging and bus analysis experience.
• Familiarity with vehicle electrical architectures and diagnostic tools.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose vehicle electrical and mechanical problems on development vehicles.
• Repair and rebuild equipment; replace electrical components as needed.
• Attach test equipment and instrumentation to road test vehicles and drive under normal conditions.
• Bench fabrication of vehicle wire harnesses and overlays; perform in-vehicle wiring modifications.
• Set up and execute testing for electrical component development and validation; analyze results.
• Assist development and validation engineers with troubleshooting at component and system levels.
