Job summary

VIVE Collision in Millville, New Jersey, is seeking a Disassembly Technician to disassemble vehicles after estimates, inspect for hidden damage, and document all findings. You will assist with reassembly and perform light repairs while maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

The role requires reading repair orders, strong organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with the Production Manager/Estimator in a fast-paced collision repair shop.

Qualifications

• Disassembly experience and ability to follow blueprinting and disassembly procedures.
• Ability to read repair orders, estimates, and work instructions.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced shop.
• Effective communication and teamwork with Production Manager/Estimator.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble vehicles after initial estimate and inspect for structural and hidden damage.
• Document all damage, required parts, blend panels, moldings, clips, and one-time-use fasteners.
• Communicate supplemental damage and parts needed to the Production Manager/Estimator.
• Assist with vehicle reassembly as needed.
• Perform light non-structural repairs including sanding, finishing, and minor bumper repairs.
• Reinstall moldings, trims, and finishing components.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow all safety procedures.
• Occasionally move or operate vehicles within the shop to support collision repair operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
