Job summary

Vive Collision in New Castle, DE is hiring an Auto Body Disassembly & Reassembly Technician for a full-time role. The position involves disassembling, inspecting, documenting, and assessing vehicles to support accurate repair planning and efficient production.

The role offers hands-on experience, opportunities to earn industry certifications, and growth into higher-level technician positions within a busy shop environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Auto Body Vo-Tech certification preferred.
• 1 year body repair experience.
• Valid driver's license with clean MVR.
• I-CAR and OEM training preferred.
• Ability to read repair orders and work instructions.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow blueprinting process and disassembly procedures for inspections.
• Disassemble vehicles and inspect for hidden/structural damage.
• Document damage, parts, and fasteners for repair planning.
• Coordinate with Production Manager/Estimator on supplemental damage.
• Assist with reassembly and light non-structural repairs.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety procedures.
• Move vehicles within the shop as needed to support repairs.
