Monro is hiring a Vehicle Technician in Leonardtown, MD. The role is full time or part-time and hourly, focusing on basic diagnostics, routine maintenance, and customer communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Automotive training including basic car maintenance and repair.
• ASE certification and State Inspection license preferred.
• Must possess a current valid driver’s license and acceptable MVR.
• Own a basic set of tools or participate in Monro's tool purchase program.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic vehicle diagnostics to identify required repairs.
• Complete Monro's Courtesy Inspection on every guest vehicle and communicate needed services.
• Assist in inventory management and stocking.
• Maintain store cleanliness and guest-ready condition.
• Follow safety standards including torque, lubrication, and codes.
• Test drive vehicles per policy while following traffic laws.
• Adhere to policies and safety regulations.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Automotive training including basic car maintenance and repair

ASE certification and State Inspection license (where applicable)

Current valid driver’s license
