Job summary

Isuzu North America is seeking a Vehicle Diagnostic Systems Coordinator in California to coordinate readiness of diagnostic systems for Isuzu commercial trucks. You will help design and deploy PC-based and web-based programs that enable fault diagnosis and repairs.

The role involves collaboration with the Service Development Engineering team, documenting requirements in CRDs, and guiding IGSS programmers to update features. Occasional travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical/Computer/Automotive Engineering Technology, or related field.
• Experience writing, testing, or debugging software in languages such as C++, C#, Python, Java, JavaScript, or embedded C.
• Experience with hardware/software communication, serial networking, embedded systems, or automotive systems.
• Experience using development tools: IDEs, debuggers, source control, issue tracking, or automated tests.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and develop vehicle diagnostic system requirements for current/future Isuzu commercial vehicles.
• Provide direction to INAC and Isuzu Japan management and engineers on service requirements.
• Coordinate development of diagnostic programs and document requirements (CRD) for IGSS/IDSS features.
• Evaluate and develop technical service information and training materials.
• Support in developing technical publications, data, and reports.
• Perform miscellaneous related duties.
