Job summary

Havis-Inc in Warminster, PA is seeking a Design Engineer to lead end-to-end mechanical design of vehicle-related products from concept to production support. You will model in SolidWorks, prepare drawings, BOMs, and support prototypes.

The role involves collaboration across engineering, validation, quality, purchasing, and production, applying GD&T, DFM/DFA, and FEA where appropriate, with occasional travel to Michigan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.

Responsibilities

• Create 3D models and assemblies in SolidWorks addressing function, performance, manufacturability, and assembly.
• Prepare complete drawings with dimensions, tolerances, materials, finishes, and revision info for release.
• Develop and maintain BOMs and engineering documentation throughout the product lifecycle.
• Support prototype and production builds through hands-on assembly and troubleshooting.
• Travel occasionally, ~3 trips per year to Michigan, for measurements and installation support.
• Provide technical support across Engineering, Validation, Purchasing, Quality, and Production.
