Job summary

ACV Auctions is seeking a Certified Condition Report Writer to inspect vehicles on receipt, document condition with detailed reports and photographs, and ensure accurate data for in-lane and online sales. You will communicate findings clearly to management and staff, supporting a seamless auction experience while adhering to procedures and safety guidelines.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of car auction industry experience, strong organizational skills, and a sharp eye for detail.

Qualifications

• Identify damage, missing parts, and mechanical problems by inspecting all customer vehicles at time of receipt.
• Document vehicle condition by completing Vehicle Condition Report (VCR) and taking digital photos.
• Communicate effectively with management and staff to ensure a smooth auction experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify damage and状况 by inspecting vehicles on receipt and noting damage to frame, paint, engine, and other parts.
• Complete VCRs with accurate data and photos for in-lane and online sales.
• Coordinate with team to resolve issues and ensure compliance with auction procedures.
