Job summary

ACV, based in Abilene, Texas, is looking for a detail-oriented individual to perform vehicle inspections and assess overall condition for processing and sale. This role includes documenting damages and inspecting vehicle equipment and options.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, be able to write reports professionally, and possess basic vehicle knowledge. The position requires valid driver's license and safety record, as well as the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Able to communicate well both in person and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle inspections to assess overall condition.
• Document and estimate vehicle damages.
• Assess mechanical condition of vehicle.

Skills

Ability to operate computer, laptop, or tablet

Ability to write reports in a professional manner

Basic knowledge of vehicles

Ability to utilize standardized lists to assign costs for damage

Education

High school diploma or GED required

Post-high-school training in damage assessment preferred
