Job summary

Ultimate Staffing Services in Missouri is seeking a Vehicle Claims Adjuster to review repair estimates, inspection reports, and documentation to determine coverage and authorization amounts.

You will handle high-volume calls in a call center, adjudicate claims, verify repair estimates, communicate with customers and repair facilities, and document activity in the claims system. Requires automotive knowledge and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Technical training or college degree is a plus.
• 3+ years of hands-on automotive repair or equivalent automotive technical experience.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming calls in a call center environment, meeting performance, handle time, and volume expectations.
• Review and adjudicate claims according to established departmental procedures and company guidelines.
• Verify repair estimates using national labor and parts guides, including labor rates and standard repair times.
• Analyze repair documentation to determine coverage eligibility under service contract terms.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, dealers, repair facilities, and vendors via phone and email.
• Determine appropriate authorization amounts using sound judgment and mechanical knowledge.
• Accurately document all claim activity, research, and decisions in the claims administration system.
• Work collaboratively with the claims team and proactively support department goals.
• Maintain high productivity and customer service standards.
• Participate in training sessions and continuing education as required.
• Assist management with special projects or issues as requested.

Primary Job Function

The Claims Adjuster reviews repair estimates, inspection reports, and supporting documentation; communicates with repair facilities and customers; and determines contract coverage and authorization amounts in accordance with company guidelines.
