Job summary

Cox Enterprises seeks a detail-focused team member to support vehicle intake at the Mount Juliet auction site. You will input VINs, stock numbers, dealer IDs, and vehicle specifics into the SECURE Application using a Zebra TC75x handheld.

You’ll install GPS trackers, label vehicles, and guide transporters to drop zones while ensuring safety procedures are followed. Responsibilities include flagging no-key vehicles, recording damaged transport, and assisting during sale days.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred, or less than 2 years of related work experience.
• Safe drivers needed; valid driver’s license required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk, and hear.
• Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat, and climb.
• Ability to lift 1-15 pounds.
• Vision abilities required include close, distance, and color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

• Input accurate vehicle information into the SECURE Application using a handheld computer (Zebra TC75x) for each vehicle received at the Auction: VIN, stock number, dealer identification number, make, model, year, mileage, color, etc.
• Install GPS trackers in OBDII Port or with Metal security cable.
• Remove license plates and document them.
• Affix barcode/stock number sticker on each vehicle received.
• Place work order numbers and routing labels on vehicles upon entry.
• Flag "no key" cars.
• Direct transporters to the proper car drop zone.
• Report transport damage as needed.
• Follow all safety and health procedures and participate in Safety Excellence activities.
• Cross train for check-in and provide assistance when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor, e.g. drive vehicles through Auction lanes on sale days.
• May be required to work overtime (>40 hours/week) as needed.

Work Schedule:

Monday-Friday (1:30pm-10:00pm)

Job Responsibilities:

• Input accurate vehicle information into the SECURE Application using a handheld computer (Zebra TC75x) for each vehicle received at the Auction:
  • Vehicle Identification number (VIN)
  • Stock number
  • Dealer identification number
  • Make, model, year, mileage, color, etc.
  • Install GPS trackers in OBII Port or with Metal security cable.
  • Remove license plates and document them.
• Affix barcode/stock number sticker on each vehicle received.
• Place work order numbers and routing labels on vehicles upon entry.
• Flag "no key" cars.
• Direct transporters to the proper car drop zone.
• Report transport damage as needed.
• Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such. Actively participate in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence.
• In the event that extra help is needed by our EPII team we will require this role to cross train for check-in and provide assistance when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor, i.e. assist on sale days driving vehicles through Auction sales lanes, etc.
• May be required to work overtime (more than 40 hours per week) as business needs dictate.
