CORPORATE RESOURCES OF IL LTD is seeking a Vehicle Buyer to source and secure vehicles for clients in Illinois. You will work with dealerships, manufacturers, and fleet partners to locate and secure the right vehicle and coordinate the purchase through delivery.

This role emphasizes problem-solving, negotiation, and proactive communication to meet client requirements and deadlines.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of vehicle purchasing or related automotive experience.
• Experience with dealerships, fleet management, or vehicle manufacturers.
• Comfortable making calls, negotiating, researching, and tracking down hard-to-find vehicles.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to manage multiple vehicle requests and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Source and purchase vehicles based on client requirements.
• Locate unavailable or out-of-stock vehicles through various channels.
• Contact dealerships, manufacturers, fleet partners, and other sources.
• Research availability and identify alternative options.
• Negotiate pricing and purchasing terms.
• Coordinate vehicle purchases, deliveries, registrations, and related docs.
• Maintain accurate records of acquisition transactions.
• Monitor orders and follow up to ensure delivery.
• Communicate availability and solutions to internal teams and clients.
• Provide customer service throughout the acquisition process.
• Identify opportunities to improve the purchasing process.

Compensation: $55,000-$65,000 + Full Benefits, 17 days PTO, and More.

We’re looking for a Vehicle Buyer to join our team and play a key role in sourcing and securing vehicles for our clients.

Our company has been a trusted leader in fleet management for more than 70 years, and we’ve built our business around finding solutions for our clients and getting the job done. In this role, you’ll be responsible for finding vehicles that may not be readily available, working directly with dealerships, manufacturers, and other industry partners to locate and secure the right vehicle.

If a client needs a specific vehicle and it’s out of stock or difficult to find, you’ll be the person tracking it down. You’ll research availability, make calls, negotiate pricing, explore alternatives, and coordinate the purchase through delivery.

This is a great opportunity for someone coming from vehicle purchasing, dealership operations, fleet management, vehicle acquisition, or a similar automotive environment who enjoys solving problems and getting results.

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organization
• Ability to manage multiple vehicle requests and priorities at once
• Comfortable working independently while collaborating with internal teams
