Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Production Manager in Lakeland, FL to lead crews, supervise field operations, and ensure budget and safety goals are met. This full-time role requires coordinating manpower, mentoring forepersons and crews, and maintaining compliance with regulations.

The position emphasizes strong communication with customers and internal stakeholders, and it serves as the primary after-hours contact for storm-related work and scheduling.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience as Vegetation Management General Foreperson required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to direct, motivate and develop teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage budget and mileage goals established.
• Evaluate crews for production efficiency and determine methods to improve.
• Provide conflict resolution when necessary.
• Coordinate manpower fluctuations.
• Educate customers, community groups and jurisdictions concerning potential vegetation/electric conflict hazards.
• Mentor and development of general forepersons.
• Mentor and development of crew members.
• Ensure that maintenance programs meet all federal regulations and/or utility standards.
• Primary contact for after-hour tree crew requests and/or storm-related activity.
• Insure proper billing.
• Oversee the Quality Assurance Programs.
• Performs other duties as required.

Education
