Job summary

Light & Wonder in Las Vegas is seeking a talented Composer/Sound Designer to join our Gaming team. You will create original music, sound effects, and voice recordings for land-based slot machines, collaborating with artists, engineers, and game designers to deliver immersive audio experiences.

You will work across DAWs (Pro Tools/Logic) and FMOD Studio, handling recording, mixing, and asset implementation for casino hardware cabinets.

Qualifications

5+ years of MIDI sequencing and digital audio production experience.
Experience recording and editing voiceovers and sound effects.
Familiarity with FMOD Studio or other interactive audio middleware is a plus.
Gaming industry experience is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

Compose original music in a variety of styles and develop it into full productions.
Craft engaging audio assets using sound libraries and synths.
Mix and produce sounds using EQ, compression, reverb, and other effects.
Record sounds with audio interfaces and proper technique.
Capture in-game footage and edit video for DAW use.
Collaborate with designers and developers, incorporating feedback.
