Job summary

Light & Wonder in Las Vegas seeks a talented Composer/Sound Designer to join our land-based gaming team. You will compose original music, design and implement audio assets for casino slot machines, and collaborate closely with game designers and other audio staff.

The role emphasizes hands-on production, recording, and mixing, with room to grow in mixing, implementation, and recording techniques across a fast-paced studio environment.

Qualifications

5+ years of professional MIDI sequencing and digital audio work with a DAW.
Experience recording/editing voiceovers and sound effects.
Familiarity with FMOD Studio or similar middleware is a plus.
Gaming industry experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Music composition and production across styles; full productions.
Sound design and implementation using libraries and synths.
Mixing with EQ, compression, reverb, and other effects.
Audio hardware use and recording techniques.
Video capture/edit for audio work in DAW context.
Collaborate with designers/developers; incorporate feedback.
Organize files for sharing; archive with version control.
Implement assets via middleware in game engines.
