Conagra Brands in Darien, Wisconsin is hiring for a night shift production role. You will read production schedules, set up and operate veg mix equipment, and help blend vegetables to meet product specifications in a high-speed facility.

You will monitor temperatures, ensure packaging and ingredients are available, maintain safety and cleanliness, and collaborate with a team to keep the line running smoothly through changeovers, shutdowns, and cleaning.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing or food production is helpful.
• Knowledge of food handling, packaging practices, and GMPs.
• Understanding of safety, quality control, and critical control points.
• Familiarity with allergen and bloodborne pathogen control or willingness to learn.
• Strong communication skills to support teamwork and daily operations.
• Dependable attendance and attention to detail in completing assigned work.
• Team-oriented with ability to work independently.

Responsabilidades

• Read and follow production schedules to ensure accurate execution of daily plans.
• Set up, operate, and adjust veg mix equipment to meet product specifications.
• Open, inspect, and prepare toted products for blending processes.
• Operate equipment including dumpers, cluster breakers, verifeeders, conveyors, and shakers.
• Mix vegetables in required proportions during startup, production, changeovers, and shutdown.
• Maintain consistent product flow to form fillers to support uninterrupted production.
• Monitor ingredient temperatures and take action to protect product quality.
• Ensure availability of packaging materials, ingredients, and finished goods.
• Stop production and report deviations from specifications or equipment issues.
• Maintain housekeeping standards to support food safety and operational excellence.
• Tear down equipment and prepare for cleaning processes.
• Rinse and sanitize veg mix equipment, conveyors, and related systems.
• Support team operations and complete additional duties as assigned.

Shift: 6:00 PM-6:00 AM Hourly Rate: $20.63 an hour + $1.50 shift differential THIS ROLE HAS A DECEMBER START DATE!

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will prepare and blend vegetable ingredients to meet production requirements while maintaining food safety, quality, and operational standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will contribute to the efficiency and success of one of Conagra Brands’ largest facilities in Darien, WI.

• Understanding of safety practices, quality control points, and critical control points
• Familiarity with allergen and bloodborne pathogen control practices or willingness to learn
• Strong communication skills to support teamwork and daily operations
• Dependable attendance and attention to detail in completing assigned work
• Works well within a team environment while contributing to shared production goals
• Works with minimal supervision while maintaining accuracy and efficiency

Physical Requirements

Please be aware that in a manufacturing environment, the noise levels can be high and the temperatures may vary. Depending on the role, physical and environmental requirements can differ but include: Being on your feet, walking around the facility, climbing stairs/ladders or kneeling for extended periods of time. Performing consistent repetitive tasks. Frequently lifting, pushing or carrying materials.
