Job summary

Conagra Brands in Kent, Washington, is hiring a production associate to monitor and wrap products on a fast-paced line. You will operate wrapping machinery, adjust speeds, perform minor maintenance, and ensure product quality and safety under GMP and SQF standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor flow of products on a conveyor and stack quantities for wrapping.
• Adjust wrapping machine speed for efficiency and continuous flow.
• Operate and maintain centerline settings to meet quality standards.
• Troubleshoot wrapping machinery to minimize downtime.
• Remove defective products from the production line.
• Review production orders and wrap products per requirements.
• Perform minor maintenance on wrapping equipment with hand tools.
• Record production data, including units wrapped and line checks.
• Maintain a clean work area and follow safety protocols.
• Collaborate with departments to support production demand and quality.

Shift: 1:30 PM-10:00 PM Hourly Rate: $0.00 an hour + $$1.50 shift differential

A Taste of Your Responsibilities

• Monitor the flow of products on an average waist-high conveyor while stacking products in the correct quantities for further processing in the wrapping machine.
• Monitor and adjust wrapping machine speed to ensure efficient production and continuous product flow.
• Operate and maintain centerline settings to ensure product quality, efficiency, and production standards are met.
• Troubleshoot wrapping machinery and production equipment to minimize downtime and support continuous operations.
• Remove defective products from the production line.
• Review production orders and wrap products according to production requirements.
• Perform minor maintenance on wrapping equipment using hand tools.
• Tally and record production information, including units wrapped, product size, weight, type, and line checks.
• Maintain a clean work area using approved cleaning chemicals.
• Collaborate with all departments to support production demand and maintain product quality standards.
• Report food safety concerns to personnel authorized to initiate corrective action.
